Crafted of Cathedral Oak Veneers, the Sutter Bookcase is finished in Claro, a distressed medium clear color. There are 3 adjustable wood shelves, one wood-framed glass shelf, one fixed wood shelf and a puck light in the top controlled by a touch switch on the right pilaster.

About the Sutter Collection

The Work Your Way program focuses on the new reality many consumers face as they continue to do much of their work from their homes. Available in five design styles, the program offers an assortment of key home office pieces for a variety of spaces Ð whether a dedicated executive home office or a more casual workstation. Ranging in scale and functionality, all of the groups within Work Your Way include an executive desk, a junior executive desk, a writing table, a lateral file, a credenza and hutch and a bookcase.

Design & Construction

Frame: Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.

Finish: Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.

Care & Warranty

We recommend dusting frequently with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Clean the surface by rubbing in the direction of the grain. We recommend polishing your furniture approximately every six months using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and rubbing the polish in the direction of the grain. Guardsman furniture polish or any furniture polish that doesn't contain silicone is recommended.

Warranty: For a period of one year after date of shipment, the manufacturer (HOOKER FURNITURE CORPORATION), after inspection by its authorized representative, will have repaired locally or replaced, as determined by HOOKER FURNITURE CORPORATION, any item that is found to be defective due to faulty workmanship or material. This guarantee applies only if furniture is stored and used under normal conditions.
