Sofas & Sectionals — Premium Brands at American Home Furniture

A sofa is the single most important piece of furniture in most living rooms — it sets the tone, anchors the space, and gets used more than anything else in the house. American Home Furniture carries the full range of premium sofas and sectionals from authorized brand partners including Bernhardt, Four Hands, Hooker, Caracole, Mobital, and other trusted names. Every sofa ships free, and most include white-glove delivery to your room of choice.

Sectional Sofas

Sectionals work especially well in open-plan rooms and family spaces — they create a defined seating area without requiring multiple sofas. Look for L-shape sectionals for corners, U-shape sectionals for larger rooms, and modular configurations that can be reconfigured if you move. Many of our sectionals are available in performance fabrics that stand up to kids, pets, and daily use.

Traditional Sofas

Standard 3-seat or 2-seat sofas work in nearly any layout. Available in fabric, leather, performance velvet, and bouclé from a wide selection of brands. Sizes range from compact apartment sofas (under 80 inches) to grand 96+ inch sofas for larger rooms.

Loveseats & Chaise Lounges

Two-seat loveseats and dedicated chaise lounges are ideal as secondary seating, in smaller rooms, or paired with a primary sofa to create an L-shaped layout without committing to a full sectional.

Sleeper Sofas

Convert your living room into a guest room with a sleeper sofa or pull-out daybed. Modern sleeper mechanisms are far more comfortable than the futons of the past, with quality memory foam and air-coil mattresses available.

How to Choose a Sofa

Measure first. Account for doorway clearances, room size, and the position of windows and doors. A sofa that looks great in the showroom can fail to clear your stairwell. Choose fabric for your real life. Performance fabrics resist stains, spills, and pet wear; leather softens beautifully but requires conditioning; linen and velvet look elegant but stain more easily. Test the seat depth and cushion firmness. Deeper seats favor lounging; shallower seats are better for upright sitting and conversation. Cushion firmness ranges from soft and sink-in to firm and supportive.
